The purpose of corporate governance at PPI is to ensure that rights and obligations are allocated among the company’s bodies in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and processes. Effective and transparent corporate governance allows shareholders to assert their interests vis-à-vis the company’s management, while also making the division of responsibilities between management and the board, as well as within the company more broadly, clear. Such effective and transparent corporate governance enables decisions to be made efficiently, which allows PPI to act swiftly when new business opportunities arise.
